Through The Second Door
It almost looks like heaven, all this wonderful blue light shining over you. You feel protected and free by it. It remains you of the sky, the beautiful sky with his wonderful little white shapeclouds. Again, you've lost yourselfs in the light, with only the shadow of Srylan's shape behind you, but you know that everything is okay and don't need to worry.
The light starts fade away and you know that you're in another different room. The Second Room.
The light is now gone, and your standing in an empty room with only one mirror in the far side corner, right before you. Only a mirror? Is that all? Oh, no. Wait, there'll be more. You know it already, you just have to wait for Srylan to let him tell his story. Ah, there he is. He's already walking towards the mirror. He winks you with one of his wings. "Overhere, come overhere, human." Withouth waiting anylonger you walk to the mirror with some fast steps. You just can't wait for the magic Srylan will show you.
The mirror is easy of shape. Round, no real details or anything like that. It looks old, there's dust on the sides of the mirror. It's just as big as yourselfs. Two meters high, not much more. You could stand in it. "This, my friend, is my mirror." Srylan tells with great proude. You just stare at him like a cow, dumb looking, blinking your eyes. "Uh, okay... But, what does it do?" you ask. "Ah, that's easy. Can you see yourselfs in the mirror?" You look, and ofcourse, you can see yourselfs. You also see Srylan at the back behind you. "Yes, ofcourse." you say. A little funny Srylan yells "Great!" at you. This isn't making sense to you. "I don't get it. What does it do?" "In this mirror paintings and drawings from whole over the world are stored. You can even find some of my art's inside this mirror." Mouth open you just stare at him. "Wow, inside this mirror?" "Yes." "But, why?" Srylan looks down, looking irritated by the question. He raises his head again, high, looking at you. "Thiefs, I hate thiefs. Paintings are valuable to them, mirrors aren't, especially dusty and old looking mirrors. That's why there can't be found anything else in this room. Only the air to breath..."
You look at the mirror again, seeing yourselfs. It's hard to imagine that all those artworks are stored in this easy looking mirror. Hmm, creative solution. "Creative solutions you have, Srylan." "Thank you." Srylan nods his head, happy with this compliment. Then you remind something. Easy question: "But, how can you view a picture in a mirror? I mean, I can only see myselfs in the mirror." "That's true. But when you touch the glass, speaking the right words, you'll be able to view the artworks." You are really fascinated! "Wow! Can I view those pictures right now? Can I?" "Not so fast, human. It takes time, time in your head, in yourselfs. Here, let me show you how it's done." You make some room for Srylan to stand right before the mirror. He closes his eyes, with his rightclaw pointing at the mirror. You see he's making some deep breaths, making a deep rumbling through the cave, not shaking, though. Then he speaks some magically words. Then, he touches the mirror. The glass doesn't look like glass anymore, it looks more like liquid. It looks liking throwing a little stone into the water, exactly where Srylan touches the mirror. It's mysterious.
He opens his eyes, looking down, like he has just done something hard. "It is done." he says, still with a rumbling sound when he breathes. He steps a side, letting you stand in front of the mirror. Pictures are showing up, fading in, fading out. "They are waiting to be viewed." Srylan says. "To view the picture press both hands on the mirror. To look furhter, press your right hand, to look back, your left. It's that easy. But first, speak the words Ashinka, to aknowledge the mirror you are no thief, that you are here to view the pictures. If you don't, the mirror will capture you, and pull you inside the mirror. Believe me, it's like horror." You understand Srylan and you take a deep breath. Then you chant the following:
"Ashinka"
